During a conversation with a representative of the ISBnews news agency, board member Maciej Nowohoński spoke, among other things, about Orange Polska's current real estate holdings.

"In the area of real estate, or in fact their sale, I would like to remind you that we have several hundred properties in our portfolio all the time. We estimate that the value of the properties we still want to monetise is approx. PLN 1 billion," he said.

The properties sold so far are estimated at around PLN 1 billion. The member of Orange Polska's management board pointed out that the sale includes facilities and plots of land not used for business activities. The entire process is taking place within the company's policy.

"Infrastructure that used to occupy hundreds of square metres today occupies dozens and we can give properties a second life. This is even one of the main tasks we set ourselves, not only to sell them, i.e. to improve the situation on the asset side for the company, but also to generate savings in the maintenance of these properties. We have had a very good start to the year in this area, after a good last year. After the pandemic, we have also taken a fresh approach to the market context, because property sales are changing. We have new tools, new ways of communicating with customers and a high demand," concluded Maciej Nowohoński.
