On September 7, the "Second Life of Buildings" conference was held at the Bristol Hotel in Warsaw. The event was initiated and co-organized by the Real Estate Department of Orange Polska.

The conference gathered over 200 participants from the real estate industry - representatives of development, consulting and brokerage companies. The event was also attended by architects, lawyers, representatives of investment funds, banks and local governments. There were also journalists.

The conference was opened by Piotr Muszyński, Vice President for Strategy and Transformation. During the conference, a case study was presented with examples of transformations of telecommunications buildings sold by Orange, which today operate, for example, like schools, lofts and shopping centres.

Paweł Buchman, Orange Polska Real Estate Director, took the role of a speaker in the investment panel. During the conference, participants were presented with the Harvard Business Review supplement, The Second Life of Buildings Brief, developed by the Real Estate department. The fruit of the conference was also the Declaration of Exemplary Revitalization, which was signed by all the panellists. This document, concerning efficient cooperation between investors and local governments, will be submitted to the Warsaw City Hall.
